Product Description

Fuel Filter RP080026

RP080026 FUEL FILTER

FCC fuel filter kit compatible with (but not limited to):

  • PCM EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) engines starting in mid 1996 equipped with a fuel control cell (FCC) system.
  • PCM/Crusader/Pleasurecraft/Pleasure Craft MP 5.0 (5.0L MPI), MP 5.7 (5.7L MPI – EX 343), MP 6.0 (6.0L MPI – ZR6 390), MP 8.1, 496 8.1L V8 GM, 5.0L 5.7L V8 GM, 5.0L 5.8L Ford, 7.4L 8.2L V8 GM inboard engines.
  • Nautique boats.

Replacement part numbers:

  • Fuel filter: RP080026, R080026.
  • Rubber rings: R047214, R014241

Compatible with PCM Engine Crusader MP Canister Marine

Installation Tips

  1. Disconnect the two-wire electrical connectors from the FCC and the low pressure fuel pump(LPFP), as well as the fuel supply line from the LPFP.
  2. Release the canister retaining clamp with a 7/16 inch wrench, slide the canister downward, and dump the contents into an approved container.
  3. Remove the fuel filter element from the canister, and take out the old o-rings from the FCC head.
  4. Put on the new o rings, and lubricate the new o-rings to facilitate the replacement process.
  5. Slide the new filter element on the high pressure pump, put the canister back on, reinstall the retaining clamp and tighten securely.
  6. Reconnect the fuel supply line to the LPFP.
  7. Reconnect the two-wire electrical connectors to the FCC and the LPFP.
  8. Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.

Material: ABS

O-ring:

  • For threaded FCC canister, use the larger o-ring only (old style).
  • For clamp-on FCC canister, use the smaller o-rings (new style).

Package included: 1 fuel control cell fuel filter, 1 larger o-ring, 2 smaller o-rings.

Fuel filter element size: Total height (including fin): 3.88″, diameter: 2.89″.

Note: The product’s size measured manually may have measurement errors, please prevail in kind.
